Start running for beginners

A few weeks ago I wrote an article about why you should run. Starting running may be one of the healthiest things you can do. And running is not just about losing weight! It is a persistent misconception of many Dutch people. There are even angry tongues who claim that it is bad for you and that you arrive. It would create a stress hormone. After hours of searching, I have not found any evidence/research that supports this theory.

What I have found evidence for is that running is good for both body and mind! Starting running may even be one of the healthiest things you can do. In this article, I will explain how you can start running. Here you can read later why running is healthy.

Low carbohydrate meals

I have followed quite a few diets in my life and the latest trend in dieting is those developed by people who have overcome their unhealthy lifestyles and/or overweight.

The advantage of these types of diet programs is that they are developed on the basis of practical experience and that the person behind the diet can relate to your situation. Many laboratory diets are developed by marketers and chemists who have no idea what we (users) have to endure. As a result, the programs of the experiential expert are often easier to sustain and better focused on daily life.

What is ketosis? And why do you fall off so quickly?

What is ketosis/ketosis? If you eat a few fast carbohydrates, your body will fall into ketosis. This means that your body starts to draw energy from fats instead of glucose. This considerably increases the fat burning of the body. More and more diets are based on this principle because of the exceptionally high weight reduction and the feeling of satiety. Unlike traditional diets, ketosis-based diets are not about limited calorie intake and calorie counting. You can almost eat what you want … or rather … what you can eat. And despite losing unlimited food, losing weight.
